At the core of every efficient production line is a logic control system. The terms get used loosely in procurement, so it is worth separating them, because the distinction determines what the panel can safely be asked to do.

Enclosure specification for Indian conditions
Panels here face heat, dust and grid instability that specification sheets written for temperate climates do not anticipate. Plants accumulate vendors. A realistic integrator has to work across:

Where intelligent MCC earns its cost
In continuous process industries — steel, chemicals, the plants around Taloja, Dahej and Ankleshwar — a power failure is a safety hazard before it is a production problem. Two design decisions follow.
First, compartmentalisation: each feeder is physically isolated, so maintenance on one motor circuit does not expose an operator to live busbar.
Second, intelligent MCC relays. A conventional overload relay trips and tells you nothing. An iMCC relay reports motor current, trip cause and fault history upstream over PROFIBUS or Modbus. The distribution board stops being a dumb power path and becomes a data source — which is what makes predictive maintenance on motor assets possible at all.
